Anonymous asked: Do you have a tutorial on how to achieve a vintage look like the one you do?

A “vintage” look is pretty vague. Vintage is generally associated with old film shots which have shifts in color/hue/contrast/etc. The best tutorial I have for something like that would be my Lomo Effect tutorial and applying the theories and concepts taught in that to other images.

Anonymous asked: Watsup Cameron. You're work is awesome. I really like your post processing approach, but I'm really interested in your actual shoots. Do you shoot mostly natural light? Or do you also utilize strobes, beauty dish and other light sources? Keep up the awesome work brah.

All my outdoor stuff is all natural light so far. No reflectors or anything. I have a few studio shots but hardly ever use strobes.

Anonymous asked: You seem to have that Norman Jean Roy look down judging by your most recent photo. (flickr.c[o]m/photos/cameronrad/6572295605/in/photostream) I've been trying to replicate that for a while now. Would you mind offering any insight? Thanks man!

With that image it was pretty simple. The interior of his car is blue/teal already so all I had to do was do a little s-curve on the blue channel to add yellow into highlights and blue in shadows. I also tweaked the red channel a bit and then did a curve for contrast. Followed by hue/saturation to desaturate everything a bit.

Anonymous asked: Hey man, I love your shots of Courtney by the fence. I was wondering if its all natural lighting, or are you using a strobe/flash/umbrella/softbox/polarizing filter?

All natural lighting
