A “vintage” look is pretty vague. Vintage is generally associated with old film shots which have shifts in color/hue/contrast/etc. The best tutorial I have for something like that would be my Lomo Effect tutorial and applying the theories and concepts taught in that to other images.

With that image it was pretty simple. The interior of his car is blue/teal already so all I had to do was do a little s-curve on the blue channel to add yellow into highlights and blue in shadows. I also tweaked the red channel a bit and then did a curve for contrast. Followed by hue/saturation to desaturate everything a bit.
